COMMITTEE & MEETING DETAILS:
ANGFA Queensland aims to make information on all aspects of the care, propagation and conservation of the freshwater fishes and associated aquatic life of Australia and New Guinea available to a wide range of people through publications and meetings.
Our meetings are held in Brisbane at the Bar Jai Hall in Alexandra St, Clayfield (near the intersection with Sandgate Road, opposite Clayfield Railway Station). Meetings are usually held on the second Friday of every second month, starting in February (unless they clash with a public holiday). Meetings start at 8.00 pm and end around 11.00 pm. Meetings generally consist of two talks, a raffle, and end with an auction of fish and plants.
ANGFA Queensland and potential members can access the secure sign-up facility, where you can sign up or renew your membership with ANGFA Queensland and ANGFA Inc (receiving Fishes of Sahul) at the same time. Go to the Subscription Options page (Join ANGFA in the main menu) where you can pay through the secure PayPal link.
